Cranford, NJ – December 03, 2009 - Paragon Solutions, a business and information technology consulting firm, has been awarded deals with two top-tier financial service firms, allowing the company to highlight its archiving and decommissioning Solution.

The first of the two companies chose Paragon from among several contenders to retain and archive 10 years of data, and decommission legacy systems as a result of the client’s recent acquisitions. The solution focused on archiving the structured data from the physical systems and databases with the goal of meeting FDIC regulatory mandates and reducing cost. The engagement was successfully completed, further establishing Paragon as a partner in e-Discovery, archiving and compliance solutions.

"With a growing number of mergers and acquisitions occurring in the financial services industry, archiving information can become time consuming and cost prohibitive," says Matt Olson, Engagement Director. "Paragon's archiving and decommissioning solution is very compelling because it is fast, simple, cost effective, and FDIC compliant."

The successful completion of the first project, lead Paragon to a strategic win surrounding decommissioning and e-Discovery with a second financial services firm. The engagement will focus more extensively on deploying an archiving solution for both structured and unstructured customer data from the client’s legacy systems. The solution is expected to generate better business efficiency, improved access to data and content, cost savings, and regulatory compliance.
